Like most businesses, COVID-19 has had an impact on our company finances so we have not been able to be as generous this year with our sponsorships.
However, the non-league football clubs have also suffered a long period without matches or paying spectators. Unlike the bigger clubs that get revenue from TV etc. even when the gates are closed, the smaller clubs rely on money taken at the turnstiles, in the bar and match day raffles etc. Therefore, after being the main sponsors of Yate Town FC for five seasons, we wanted to do our best to help them.
Appreciating the impact of Coronavirus on businesses, the club has kindly agreed to a reduced package for the forthcoming season.
After all the disruptions and delays, it will be good to see a new (and hopefully very successful) campaign begin. The new league season begins with an away match against the Metropolitan Police on 19th September. The first home game is on Saturday 26th September versus Dorchester Town.
